Patrick raises rabbits

Meet Patrick, a member of Early Morning savings group. In January, Patrick set a simple goal: save until June so he could start rabbit keeping. With steady commitment, he saved about $2.30 USD (KSh 300) and bought a female rabbit. He borrowed a male rabbit and this month, he welcomed 8 baby rabbits!

Each baby rabbit is valued at about $1.15 USD, bringing the total value to around $9.20 USD. What started as a small savings goal has already multiplied into a meaningful return.
