Nanki is Saving for Daughters’ Weddings

Nanki Loniya has been a savings group member for 11 months. She has 5 children. Her husband died. She lives on a plot of land owned by the government. She doesn’t get any support from the government.
She is a laborer for her neighbors, working in their fields, planting and harvesting. Her son also does the same.
Two church members helped her buy a goat she is raising to sell.
When she was sick, she borrowed $18 for medicines. The full amount will need to be repaid after six months.
Her goal for saving is to pay for her 3 daughter’s weddings.
She also wants to open a small snack shop, but first she needs to build a shop.
