You can make a difference in someone’s life by becoming a volunteer
at Open Hands. We use volunteers to help out
professional staff in the Adult Day Center, Thrift Store or with
our special events. Times are flexible and supervision is provided.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of non-profit organizations. They perform
many vital functions at Open Hands. Our volunteer coordinator will
carefully consider your personal preferences, temperament, education
and employment background to match you with a compatible and enjoyable
assignment. We provide training, guidance and direction and will
change your assignment as well as add responsibilities to suit your
changing needs and wishes.
