VOLUNTEER
You can make a difference in someone's life by becoming a volunteer at Open Hands. We use volunteers to help out professional staff in the Adult Care Center and with our special events. Times are flexible and supervision is provided.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of nonprofit organizations. They perform many vital functions at Open Hands. Our volunteer coordinator will carefully consider your personal preferences, temperament, education and employment background to match you with a compatible and enjoyable assignment. We provide training, guidance and direction and will change your assignment, as well as add responsibilities to suit your changing needs and wishes.
If you are interested in volunteering, please look over the following list of opportunities available and then download the pdf version of our Volunteer Application.
