COMMUNITY OUTREACH SERVICES

Community Outreach Services offers assistance to frail elderly, the disabled or economically disadvantaged to enable them to continue living in their own homes. Staff and volunteers provide information and services that are administered through many programs.

  • Healthcare Advocacy

    Advises clients on the safe and proper use of medications and offers suggestions for purchasing them more economically.

  • Home Safety Assessments & Modifications

    Assists people to live safely in their homes by assessing potential hazards and making modifications to aid accessibility, mobility and safety, such as ramps, grab bars, and smoke detectors.

  • Medical Equipment Loan Bank

    Lends assistive medical equipment, such as canes, walkers, wheelchairs and shower seats, for several months without charge.
