RESOURCES AND LINKS
Open Hands is committed to working with community partners and government agencies to improve the lives of our elderly and disadvantaged citizens. In delivering our services to the community, we actively coordinate our programs and referrals with the United Way, City of Santa Fe Senior Services, St. Vincent Hospital, the seven other Community Action Agencies serving New Mexico, St. Elizabeth Shelter and numerous other providers throughout the Santa Fe area. Our volunteer program partners with AARP New Mexico, Church of the Holy Faith, City of Santa Fe Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, Sierra Vista Retirement Community, Odyssey Hospice, First Presbyterian Church, Tesuque Pueblo, Church of Religious Science, and many other organizations to coordinate weekly visits to the homebound. In providing emergency financial support to low-income residents, Open Hands is a major conduit for the management and distribution of state and federal financial assistance and relief funding.
