- Santa Fe County's 65-and-over population rose by 44% from 1990-2000
- This age group has increasing needs and faces declining government funding support
The Needs We Meet
- Serve more than 10,000 people each year
- More than 80% of clients classified as having very low income under federal guidelines
The Firsts We Have
- Only non-profit adult day care center in Santa Fe County
- Only home-safety assessment and services program in New Mexico outside
of Albuquerque
- Only comprehensive medical equipment loan program offered at no cost to
everyone in Santa Fe County
- Only organization offering a medication-management program which trains
seniors and their caregivers on the safe, economical use of needed
medications

- Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce-Century Bank "Business Excellence Award"
for a large nonprofit agency in 2003
- New Mexico Area Agency on the Aging's (PSA II) first annual award for
overall program performance in 2002

- Adult Care Services is one of only three day care facilities in New Mexico with a registered
