Open Hands provides essential services to assist elderly, disabled or economically disadvantaged New Mexicans to live with dignity and independence.
Open Hands is dedicated to providing day services for elderly members, improving the safety of homes for disabled and elderly individuals and families in temporary crisis. Open hands provides loans for short term assistive equipment, and administers an individual development account program to help move participants out of poverty.
