› New Mexico Celebrated the Spanish Renaissance for Open Hands and Las Golondrinas with Record Attendance

Over 4,200 attendees enjoyed two days of merriment and goodwill at Santa Fe's first annual Renaissance Fair at the El Rancho de las Golondrinas living history museum on September 20th and 21st. Celebrating the Spanish Renaissance, this special event was recognized as part of Santa Fe’s 400th year official city celebration. Proceeds of the event will benefit the programs of Open Hands and Las Golondrinas.

› Open Hands Honored Community Members at Open House

Open Hands hosted a summer open house on July 20, 2008. As part of the festivities, Jim McLaren and Gina Montoya of Santa Fe were honored for their inspiration to the community.

Open Hands’ Senior Prom, May, 2008
On Saturday, May 31, Open Hands supporters dressed in the fashion of past prom nights. They danced the night away – all for a good cause!

Silent Auction, December, 2007
Thank you to everyone who attended the “Open Hands, Open Hearts” silent art auction. December 14th and 15th, 2007, Open Hands supporters gathered at the Nussbaumer Fine Art Gallery to preview artwork and place bids in a silent auction. Artwork was donated from over 100 Santa Fe gallery artists.
