Donations
Open Hands acts as a steward of every gift received, demonstrating the highest standards in receiving; managing and distributing funds to our clients in need.
Make a donation. Make a difference.
A gift to Open Hands helps makes an immediate difference in someone’s life and you may rest assured that your donor dollars are spent wisely. Approximately $.86 of each dollar you give goes directly to help program initiatives that serve over 12,000 citizens in need each year.
Here’s an example of how your funds help elderly, disabled and disadvantaged residents:
$50 provides one month of food for one elderly or disabled client in Adult Day Services.
$100 provides supplies for art therapy for seniors in the Adult Day Program.
$250 provides a trainer to work with clients on fall prevention & mobility issues.
$500 provides class supplies for the IDA program for all attending families.
$1000 - $1500 Provides childcare for families attending IDA class.
